Remember in episode one where I outlined what marketing is (in a way a normal person can understand it)? Well, in this episode, I talk about how a small argument with my Dad made me think really hard about marketing.
That argument got me to thinking about how an established theory, the Marketing Mix. The Marketing Mix is such a fundamental, yet often over-looked, framework but it really does still provide us with a great framework to find people with a need and get them to trust us.
It’s not all theory though. At the end of the episode, I outline how you can use the Marketing Mix to paint a picture of how your target audience sees your business as well as how you can use it to find differentiation or weak points when comparing your business to your competitors.
